Description

Tiger Brands is seeking a General Worker Packer to execute manual production activities to achieve operational targets. This includes ensuring compliance with Quality, Safety, GMP, and Food Safety standards, preparing packaging materials and equipment, packing products correctly, monitoring production lines, managing waste, and maintaining housekeeping and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for production by ensuring that all packaging and equipment, material required is ready
• ( Tape guns, sellotape, pallets, wrapping etc)
• The execution of day-to-day production activies as required
• The execution of manual activities to ensure seemless, safe and good quality products are produced
• Escalation of production obstacles e
• g
• , Material quality defects, safety risks, safety incidents and observation, line stoppages, etc
• Waste management: waste collection in and around the production facility
• GMP and Food Safety Governance: maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workstation and surrounding areas

Qualifications

• Grade 12
